Taylor also has unique insights and specialties in the areas of Sexual Health & Sexual Healing, Eating Disorders, and working with Children and Youth, including Unique Challenges Faced by Teens.

Taylor believes counselling is a place where individuals can discover their authentic self and learn skills to help it shine through.
Prior to graduate school, Taylor worked alongside many individuals in non-profit organizations around the Edmonton area. She volunteered with the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton on the 24-crisis and information line to support individuals impacted by sexual assault in addition to the Zebra Child Protection Centre where she advocated for children that have experienced abuse. She also worked as a study coordinator with the Department of Psychiatry, at the University of Alberta in collaboration with the Eating Disorder Program assisting with research on emotional processing.
Taylor recently completed her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Lethbridge and she works with youth and adults in individual counselling, couples counselling, and assessments.
